Fast Food on a Diet - Deconstructed Burger Salad
Burger salad is a favourite with me and my family, with crispy lettuce and a health factor while still having the savory beef like a burger - with the beef in this recipe being ground beef rather than a patty.
The recipe includes few ingredients, and it can be tweaked to add or remove various toppings - for this list, it will be the ingredients I used for the one with the most toppings:
- 2lbs ground beef (serves three people
- Seasoning: paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, BBQ rub (I used Meat Church’s “Holy Voodoo” rub), salt
- Romaine lettuce
- Jalapeño peppers
- Tomato
- BBQ sauce
- Condiments of choice
