ABOUT ME

I'm Lexi, the author, editor, and publisher for Lexi's Projections. I have been writing for 3+ years as of 2026, and my portfolio has been steadily increasing since my start with album reviews on Album of the Year. 

I started off as a young girl with a dream, and now day by day I am living it and showcasing it all for my audience here on Lexi's Projections - a name I coined to showcase how diverse my site truly is in all of the content that I capture. I am a deeply professional individual who strives to upload the best work imaginable, and my knowledge on music and various other topics means that I am writing from a place of genuine expertise with every topic that I cover.

I am based in the Fraser Valley, with most of the content throughout the site being based in Chilliwack. I have worked organically to get to where I am, and helpful networking and self-promotion have helped for me to thrive.

My passion for music runs deep, and I currently work as the Chilliwack Media Correspondent with HOLD THE MUSTARD PRODUCTIONS, a local Fraser Valley show production company that specializes in hosting hard-hitting metal and punk shows that showcase various different talented artists. I am also the interviewer of the company, and my reviews run outside of company progress with names like Shane Told and Henry Rollins being figures that I have interviewed at this point in my career. 

As well as writing, I am also active in the Fraser Valley music scene as a genuine enjoyer of the shows, which is what landed me where I am today. Since discovering these gritty metal shows I have come out of my shell, and I cannot wait to share my journey with everyone here. I am also an independent videographer with a 2010's Canon camcorder as my camera of choice for a gritty, old-school feel to my videos. I cover a variety of bands and events in the Chilliwack area, with occasional stops outside of my home city for even more content.

On this site, I look to document my journeys, reviewing music, movies, events, businesses, and food. Alongside reviews, I also cook and bake - meaning that I strive to showcase delicious homemade recipes for a larger audience.
