Missed Out On the Show? See Chilliwack Blackened Thrash Metal Band ASSAILANT Live Through Footage

I was honoured to work with Assailant on Thursday, with the crew enlisting me to record their entire set at the Chill House. This show kicked off April with a bang, with the mid-week date marking the start of the Easter long weekend. The band made sure to put on a longer set, and it was without a doubt one of their absolute best sets that they have done at the venue so far. 

The band blends old-school thrash influences with something even heavier, blending the line of subgenres and creating a sound that pulls a massive crowd. The Chill House would not be what it is today without Assailant gracing the stage - and they are without a doubt the best metal band local to Chilliwack. 

Assailant are a band that you MUST keep on your radar - and this footage is exactly why. You won't find sharper performers anywhere, and they just keep getting better. Following along their musical journey has been one of the most rewarding parts of working in the Chilliwack scene; and this is a band that you will want to follow too. 

It should go without saying that the torch of thrash has been handed down to Assailant - and if you weren't convinced before, seeing their entire set filmed from such a massive vantage point of the Chill House should be enough to give you the push to come to one of their shows.
