HOLD THE MUSTARD PRODUCTIONS: All About Jagerwatt Before the Show

Jagerwatt are a four person band that blends various different genres and styles to create a sound that is uniquely them through and through. Their unique sound palate blends hard rock with alternative and metal influences to create something diverse and full of depth - and you won't want to miss out on their pre-headliner set at the Chill House this Saturday.

The band is based in Abbotsford, and they blend unique elements from jazz and blues into their heavy and unifying music that will bring something different and packed full of variety to the Chill House stage.

Q: First off, introduce yourself! What is your role in the band like?

A: Hi I’m Aaron, lead singer of JagerWatt, with Ryan on guitar, Steve on bass, and Kaeden on drums.

Q: What sound does Jagerwatt play?

A: Hard rock with hints of jazz, metal, and blues

Q: What does the band specialize in?

A: Hard Rock

Q: If you could describe your sound in one word, what might that word be?

A: Eclectic

Q: What energy do you bring to the stage?

A: We bring a jazzy metal, eerie vibe to the venue

Q: What is the most important part of performing for you and your bandmates?

A: The ability to create something, bounce ideas off each other, and then show our creations to you all.

Q: How long have you been creating music for?

A: Jagerwatt came from different projects combining over the last decade, but has officially been 6 years with the current 4 members.

Q: What’s the most memorable aspect of performing for you personally?

A: Seeing the crowd response to our songs.

Q: What can the Chill House crowd expect from your show?

A: A very tight group who has written some intricate, yet catchy songs

Q: Lastly, what is one piece of advice you would give to aspiring artists?

A: Keep writing, keep performing, don’t try to perfect any specific thing, because the more you write, the better your songs become.
