The Best Asian Pork Tenderloin Bites

Asian flavours pair best with pork, and tenderloin bites are sure to please any crowd. They're quick and easy to make, and these bites can marinate overnight for those who like to plan ahead. The marinade contains flavours from various different parts of Asia - and they were a hit in my house.

This pork is complimented with a thick sauce created by frying the pork and coating it in the extra marinade in your dish, and it comes together delicious, smooth, and flavourful. This is pork that you will never be able to get enough of, and you will love just how simple this recipe is - no fuss, no hassle, just simple, homemade Asian flavours.

Some of the ingredients in this recipe may seem hard-to-find, but you can find many of the products I used at Walmart or other grocery stores that contain an "International" aisle.

For those who love immaculate, layered flavours - this is the dish for you. It is suitable for any palates, and it's better than any takeout.

Ingredients:

  • One pork tenderloin, any size depending on preference
  • Furikake seasoning
  • Onion powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Panko
  • Red pepper flakes
  • 4+ cloves garlic
  • Purée ginger
  • Soy sauce
  • Banana sauce / banana ketchup
  • Sweet chili sauce
  • Chilli oil

First, cut your pork into bite-sized pieces, these can be as large or as small as you like. Place the pieces into a dish and season with furikake, onion powder, garlic powder, panko, and red pepper flakes.

Then, add three tablespoons of sesame oil to the pork, evenly coating the pieces before adding one cup of soy sauce and one cup of water. Chop up your garlic and add it to the pork mixture alongside two tsp of purée ginger before adding half a cup of sweet chili sauce and a quarter cup of banana ketchup. Put the marinated pork in the fridge and let sit for at least one hour.

Once the pork has absorbed the marinade more thoroughly, fry in a large frying pan over about medium heat. Fry in a mix of sesame oil and chili oil. Serve either hot or cold once pieces are cooked through. Use the oil mixed with marinade from the pan as a sauce.
