Local Business Spotlight Chilliwack: Pho Chilliwack

Pho Chilliwack is one of the best hidden gems for authentic Vietnamese cuisine in the Fraser Valley, with this spot being brought to my attention through a local Facebook group. It had been years since I have had a bowl of hot pho, and to call this spot refreshing would almost be an understatement. 

The atmosphere in the restaurant is truly top of the line in quality. It is exceptionally clean and highly welcoming, with warm décor colours and a simple layout that is effective in creating a deeply peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. It's the perfect place to settle down in after running some downtown errands in the Vedder strip and accompanying spaces, and the location makes it great for grabbing a bit to eat on an evening out on the town. 

It was the perfect spot for a rainy day, and it was an incredibly inviting restaurant that is situated next to Little Beetle on Vedder. The menu is full of hearty options that are unique and suitable for any palate, with various add-ons and appetizers making for a full menu that has endless options for continuous visiting - because you're sure to want to come back after you've had your first bowl.

I don't think I can pinpoint a time where I've ever had faster service. Authentic hot green tea was served immediately, and food came within minutes of ordering - the appetizers and main courses came at the same time, and it was a truly delicious meal that was heightened by quick, friendly service and a quiet, calming atmosphere. 

The restaurant serves up very large portions with semi-standard pricing that does run on the high end - but you're paying for a meal that is well worth your dollars at this spot. Despite being hefty portions of soup, your meal is sure to be light, delicious, and refreshing. It's the perfect spot as the seasons transition from winter to spring, and their warm broth is sure to bring you some comfort on any day.

There is a great selection of appetizers that you can choose from, with my pick being a half-order of their exceptionally crispy, buttery chicken wings. They are served with a deliciously irresistible sweet chili sauce, and a crispy skin with juicy chicken inside. These chicken wings were some of the most crispy pieces of chicken I have ever had, and safe to say they were a winner in my book. Being able to get appetizers alongside hot bowls of pho that you are able to customize to your liking is an incredible plus side to the restaurant that makes it perfect for every craving - and it's without a doubt the best Vietnamese food in all of Chilliwack.

The sleek modern décor makes the dining experience that much more refreshing, and the authenticity of the food while using a clean interior design style makes this spot an absolute must for anyone in the Chilliwack area. 

As for the pho itself, the broth is incredibly salty and flavourful, using a rich umami flavour with light and authentic noodles to create an invigoratingly delicious dish that will leave you coming back for more. Their beef is fall-off-the-bone tender, and the portions are large, with the option of adding various add-ons and sauces to your bowl, as well as half-orders for those looking for a smaller bowl. 

With how light the food is, even those with small appetites will surely be able to get through their meal, especially with how rich and flavourful every bite is. There are various different pho options with different kinds of meat and toppings that will leave any palate satisfied, and the food is served hot and fresh. 

Pho Chilliwack is a true hidden gem in the Valley, and if you are in the area, you can not miss out on this spot. For a meal that is light, refreshing, and packed full of flavour, look no further than Pho Chilliwack.
