Simple, Yet Ingenious: Chopped BBQ Chicken Sliders
Throw these quick sliders together for parties or other events, as these are super easy and sure to please every time!
Ingredients:
- One package of King’s Hawaiian Rolls
- Cheese of your choice, I used marbled cheddar
- Bacon
- Boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- Onion powder
- Garlic powder
- Paprika
- Chipotle sauce
- BBQ sauce
- Mayonnaise
First, prep your lettuce by washing and cutting it for later, cut your package of rolls lengthwise, opening it and leaving two halves to add your chicken and toppings to later. Preheat oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit, and cook your bacon in a frying pan on the stove. For my personal preference, I cut the bacon into pieces with kitchen scissors and pan fried it while the oven pre-heated to warm the sliders in later.
Cut your chicken into strips, then season with paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and optionally, a BBQ rub. I used Meat Church’s “Holy Voodoo” seasoning for this recipe. Add it to the pan with the bacon grease and BBQ sauce after transferring the bacon to a separate dish, and fry until cooked through.
Spread mayo on the inner layer of each piece of the Hawaiian rolls, then add the chopped mixture and slices of your desired cheese. Put it in the oven once assembled for around 10 minutes to melt the cheese and crisp up the bread.
Serve desired portions once the sliders are done in the oven. Great for sharing or events due to the cut and serve nature of the meal! It’s a super easy, delicious recipe that you cannot go wrong with - and I cannot wait to
make more chopped sliders in the near future.

This sounds delicious!! I think you did this trend the best
ReplyDeleteIt was absolutely incredible and one of my favorite dinners I have made in a long while! I want to make more slider recipes like this, which will probably end up posted here too - I've loved creating recipes to post, even though I had seen a variation on this through Facebook recently, which inspired me to make my own.
