The Abbotsford Power Metal 5-piece XENITH will be opening up Saturday night's show at the Chill House, with the band's electrifying mixed Metal sound being perfect for the venue.

1. Who are XENITH for those who do not know the band yet?

XENITH is a power/thrash/groove metal band based in Abbotsford BC.

2. What is your role in the band like, and how does it define your work?

My role in the band is Drummer! I write all the drum parts, partake in song structure, as well as book most of our shows.

3. What is your style when it comes to both aesthetic and sonic elements while working with the band?

As far as aesthetics, I make sure my hair looks good (at the beginning of the show anyways), and most likely wearing an Oilers or Stitch tank top. Sonically? I just try to serve the music and have a blast doing it!

4. What makes XENITH unique from other bands in the scene?

Our vocal stylings has a varied & dynamic range paired with a vast catalog of songs that are both technical and profound.

5. If you could describe your sound in one word, what would that word be?

Ferocious.

6. Who are some of your biggest influences and inspirations?

My bands that have influenced me and my playing up to this point would have to be Dream Theater, Havok, Arch Enemy, and TOOL.

7. What makes playing and creating music worth it for you?

Writing and performing music is one of the main things that brings me joy and a sense of purpose in life.

8. What does XENITH bring to the stage when performing?

XENITH will melt your face with ripping guitar solos, and keep you moving to sick beats and a wall of sonic energy.

9. What can both fans and newcomers expect from your set at the Chill House?

At our upcoming show at the Chill House, you can expect us to give you our absolute all, just as we do at every other show. You can also expect to here a few songs off of our upcoming album, set to be released this fall! (Fall 2026)

10. Lastly, what is one piece of advice you would give to any aspiring artists out there?

If this is something you are passionate about, don't let anybody discourage you. Getting discouraged is the only thing that can stop you from becoming the best musician you can be.
